Skywalk Group’s success is owed in large part to the experience and direction from our founding partners, Elizabeth Trcka and Tami Young.

Together with the rest of Skywalk Group’s team, they help small, medium and large business owners take on challenges in recruiting, human resource management and employee development.

    Partner

    Elizabeth, a founding partner of Skywalk Group, formed the human resources, training and development, and professional recruiting company in 2002 after working for McLeodUSA for eight years as the Director of Human Resources and Staffing. While at McLeodUSA, under Elizabeth’s leadership, the staffing department was responsible for hiring over 15,000 employees nationally while maintaining leading edge staffing skills and competitive recruiting practices.

    While leading the recruiting efforts for Skywalk Group, Elizabeth and her team have worked with many industries and professions, providing small to large scale recruiting solutions throughout the country. Elizabeth has over 20 years of proven recruiting and human resources experience, working with start-ups as well as Fortune 500 companies throughout the U.S. and internationally.

    Elizabeth attended Mount Mercy College and received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration.

    Tami Young

    Partner

    As a founding partner of Skywalk Group, Tami brings over 20 years of executive human resources experience. Prior to Skywalk Group she served as Vice President of Human Resources in the start-up and growth of a now publicly traded company. In that role, she was responsible for developing human resources strategy to support extraordinary growth, state-of-the-art recruiting methods, benefits and compensation strategies, employee relations and overseeing employee development programs. Tami also directed the human resource evaluation and integration of over 30 mergers and acquisitions.

    Tami attended the University of Northern Iowa where she received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration.
