Our client is a fast paced, growth oriented Communications Corporation that supplies Equipment (Shelters, Generators, UPS’s, Rectifiers) and Turnkey Construction Services for the Fiber Optic and Cellular Industry. We are looking for the best and brightest Project Manager who will manage turnkey telecom projects and complex, enterprise-wide projects. Candidates are expected to be high energy, efficient and an effective leader whose core being emulates high integrity and unwavering principles. The Project Manager will serve as a role model and mentor on project management methodology, standards, strategy, and quality. Serves as an influential leader by demonstrating project management professionalism, passion/enthusiasm, providing communication/motivation and creating teamwork and collaboration.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Construction PM

Project design and development including scope, subcontractor selection, capital cost, installation estimating, and project scheduling.?
Coordinate with vendors and subcontractors to assure competitive cost, best schedule and delivery for all project-related equipment, supply installations, and construction services.?
Manage vendors and subcontractors to ensure quality control and project delivery on time and within budget, while meeting or exceeding customer expectations.?
Foster positive and effective business relationships at all levels and project phases.?
Provide ongoing project status updates with all parties throughout design and construction.?
Evaluate technologies and equipment; recommend most suitable for each application.?
Provide project reports, documentation, technical assistance, support, and collaboration.?
Manage project expenditures and job cost accounting processes: including accuracy, documentation, approvals, payment reporting, and tracking.?
Ensure compliance with company, industry, trade, and jurisdictional safety standards, practices, codes.?
Perform other duties as required.?

Ability to function well in a fast-paced environment with a high sense of urgency and minimal supervision.

Enterprise PM

· Schedule Management: Create and maintain an effort-driven project schedule for each project by identifying and monitoring: overall project timeline, project milestones, tasks, resources, task dependencies, and critical paths

· Documentation: Control and track internal project performance, time allocations, cost, and quality by constantly evaluating project progress and conducting regular team status meetings

· Cost Management: Determines, monitors, and reviews all project economics, including costs, operational budgets, staffing requirements, resources, and risk

· Issue / Risk Management: Anticipates and identifies Risks and Issues that may impact deliverables and develops and implements mitigation and corrective actions

· Reporting: Monitors and reports on the status of project efforts (including weekly time reporting, monthly resource forecasting, monthly executive reporting, issue management and risk prevention/mitigation)

· Scope: Ensures the internal Corporate project remains focused on key objectives and goals and comply with established methodologies. Develop and manage project expectations ensuring all applicable functional areas are engaged on the project.

· Initiative: Provides direct input on, and helps with the creation & implementation of, all Project Management Office standards, processes, and support services.

Proficient in organization, time, and project management with ability to manage multiple priorities, complete all required documentation/paperwork, and provide timely and accurate project status reporting.
