Mentoring

Mentoring is often mentioned in conjunction with success.  When talking with men and women about their employment experiences, it is not uncommon to hear them speak of one or more individuals within their career who influenced them.  They frequently refer to their immediate supervisor as someone who was especially helpful in their development.  They also mention others, not directly responsible for them, who provided guidance and support to them in the development of their careers.  These mentors; executives, managers, and sometimes coach, advise, and encourage employees are every bit as important as their manager.

Skywalk Group’s mentoring training is intended as a workshop for those in your organization who have been selected or asked to mentor others.  The focus on the workshop is on the mentoring process and the tools mentors have at their disposal.
