Management coaching is a frequently forgotten task within organizations.  Unfortunately, untrained managers can do more harm than good.

Managers are often promoted for being skilled as a contributor within the organization; a strong sales person, a top-notch software developer, or a skilled manufacturing employee.  Rarely, do these employees receive any specific management coaching or training upon being promoted.

Leadership and communication skills are the building blocks for any new manager.  From there, management coaching is customized to cater to the needs of the individual.  Additional coaching topics may include setting performance goals, providing feedback, delegating, supporting change, and more.
